A recent study explained Siglec-G’s role in endotoxemia in a different angle, where they suggested that Siglec-G deficiency attenuated the LPS-TLR4-induction of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and augmented the expression of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 at both acute and immunosuppressive phases of sepsis (13). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and Sepsis.
