Both malignant acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cell lines (MV4-11 and MOLM-13) and hematopoietic cells from normal controls (human CD34+ HSPC) were increased in cell numbers at 5 dpf after transplantation inside the zebrafish xenografts (Fig. 2A), while engrafted human T cells also survived within the zebrafish host but cell proliferation was not statistical significance (Fig. 2A). This evidence concerns the gene PSMA7 and acute myeloid leukemia.
