GPT and deep vein thrombosis: Patients with DVT and those without DVT significantly differed in term of prevalence of chronic renal insufficiency (16.4% vs 7.3%, P = 0.008), current smoking status (28.4% vs 16.2%, P = 0.011), time from injury to DUS (6.0 ± 4.7 vs 4.1 ± 3.7, P = 0.003) and to definite operation (7.3 ± 3.8 vs 5.0 ± 2.9, P < 0.001), the total hospital stay (19.1 ± 7.8 vs 5.0 ± 2.9, P < 0.001), prevalence of elevated ALT (19.4% vs 9.4%, P = 0.030) and AST (25.4% vs 13.3%, P = 0.006), increased count of LYM (37.3% vs 53.5%, P = 0.011) and PLT (56.7% vs 36.7%, P = 0.001) (Table 2).
