Quantitative flow cytometric analysis of CD45 expression, a leukocyte common antigen, performed 48 h after cerebral ischemia induction, demonstrated that the number of CD45+ cells was dramatically increased in the brains of Poldip2+/+, but not in Poldip2+/− mice (Fig. 1).
