To determine if the fusions are capable of rendering ICC cells sensitive to targeted therapy, we took advantage of HCCC-9810 and RBE cells, which have intact FGFR2 genes, and are known to be resistant to FGFR-specific TK inhibitors BGJ398 and AZD4547. The gene discussed is FGFR2; the disease is intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
