LCN2 and acute kidney injury: After transplant, urinary NGAL levels were elevated above 153 ng/mL and urinary KIM1 levels were above 2.37 ng/mL in all six patients for whom data were available (Patients 1–6); these levels of NGAL [38] and KIM1 [37] are considered predictive of AKI progression (S8 Table in S1 File).
