IL6 and skin neoplasm: It also showed the significant role of IL-6 -597G/A polymorphism with the decreasing of cervical cancer risk under some genetic models [AA vs. GG: OR = 0.79, 95% CI = 0.63–0.98, p-value = 0.0390; AA vs. AG + GG: OR = 0.82, 95% CI = 0.68–1.00, p-value = 0.0474] and increasing of lung and skin cancer risks under the allelic model [A vs. G: OR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.00–1.41, p-value = 0.0450] (Table 4).
