Diabetic states can inhibit endogenous H2S-producing enzyme CSE, while the activation of myocardial imidazoline I1 receptor with moxonidine can improve DCM by increasing endogenous H2S via CSE or increase CSE expression to inhibit DAPK-3 to ameliorate DCM (Figure 3).
