The downregulation of CPT‐1 activity caused by TDGA canceled the decrease in serum ALT levels as well as fat accumulation by the low‐dose of α‐Toc treatment although TDGA alone did not worse HF‐induced hepatic accumulation and induce hepatic steatosis in this study, strengthening the findings that a low‐dose of α‐Toc improves NAFLD through the regulation of CPT‐1 activity. The gene discussed is GPT; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
