Since the first case of anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis was identified (1), increasing numbers and subtypes of antibody-mediated encephalitis have been discovered, such as leucine-rich glioma-inactivated 1 (LGI-1), γ-aminobutyric acid type B receptor (GABAbR), and contactin-associated protein-2 (CASPR2) antibodies (2–4). Here, CNTNAP2 is linked to encephalitis.
