Some patients in this cohort suffering cognitive impairment (36.9%) had autoantibodies against NMDAR, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG), pre glycine receptor alpha 1 (pre-GLRA1), glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65), Rho GTPase-activating protein 26 (ARHGAP26) and Hu antigen (Bartels et al. 2019) suggesting a manifold illustration of specific neural autoantibodies existing in patients with cognitive impairment. The gene discussed is MOG; the disease is Cognitive impairment.
