Intriguingly, in CXCL2-induced mouse peritonitis, the difference that resulted from the deficiency of Bam32 in the number of emigrated neutrophils was diminished at 4 h after intraperitoneal injection of CXCL2, implying that the Bam32-dependent regulation of neutrophil emigration may only be responsive to CXCL2 at early time points. The gene discussed is DAPP1; the disease is peritonitis.
