The addition of GNAS to pancreatic cyst fluid KRAS testing has been shown to increase the diagnostic accuracy of IPMN identification from 66 to 80.7%, though this does not achieve a statistically superior result to KRAS testing alone (p > 0.05), which has a diagnostic accuracy of 76.6% [39].
