The lung homing domain (a.a. 381–443) of human AEG-1 was used as the antigen to detect anti-AEG-1 antibody in sera from 483 different cancer patients, including 98 breast cancer, 96 HCC, 88 colorectal cancer, 51 lung cancer and 88 gastric cancer, by ELISA [133]. This evidence concerns the gene MTDH and hepatocellular carcinoma.
