Our results also revealed that HOTAIR, NEAT1, PAI-1, and OPN can discriminate between breast cancer patients and fibroadenoma patients, showing an AUC of 0.77 (95% CI 0.66 to 0.88, cut off > 15.1, p < 0.001), an AUC of 0.73 (95% CI 0.59 to 0.86, cut off < 0.27, p < 0.05), an AUC of 0.71 (95% CI 0.59 to 0.82, cut off > 15.10, p < 0.05), and an AUC of 0.83 (95% CI 0.73 to 0.92, cut off > 30.13, p < 0.0001), respectively.
