Strikingly, the cytokines that are typically associated with viral infection and acute phase reactions (IL-1β, TNF-α2, IL-6, IFN-λ1, and IFN-λ2,3) did not show increased production when compared to mock infected cells, with the exception of IL-1β (Figure 5A and Figure S4).
