Similarly, oral administration of A. Blazei polysaccharides in breast cancer-bearing rats induced significant tumour growth inhibition by decreasing the levels of lipid peroxidation products and promoting the activities of antioxidant enzymes (SOD, CAT, glutathione peroxidase (GPx), and glutathione reductase (GR)) in the blood and liver.
