Several reviews discuss the contributions of specific anti-apoptotic BCL-2 family proteins to prostate cancer therapy resistance and the targeting of the BCL-2 family by siRNA, antisense DNA or BH3-mimetics [68,69,70]; however, a comprehensive systems analysis of BCL2 proteins in prostate cancer, and their changes in response to anti-cancer therapies and to anti-apoptotic signals has yet to be performed. Here, BCL2 is linked to prostate cancer.
