To comprehensively screen the specific glycolytic targets of METTL14/BPTF crosstalk in RCC, we searched a series of glucose metabolism-associated genes and BPTF signature and observed that ENO2, ENO3, FUT8, PCK1, and SRC were notably enhanced in METTL14-/- cells, but only ENO2 and SRC were consistently reduced upon BPTF knockdown or treatment with the BPTF inhibitor AU1 (Figure 6F-G, Figure S4D). The gene discussed is ENO2; the disease is renal cell carcinoma.
