CD38 and Miyoshi myopathy: We established induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from normal B lymphocytes (BiPSCs: BiPSC13 and MIB2-6) to test the hypothesis that the abnormal cells of origin responsible for tumorigenesis of MM are reprogrammed mature B lymphocytes6, and these BiPSCs have the same VDJ rearrangement of IgH as the original B lymphocytes and differentiate into CD34+/CD38− hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs) when co-cultured with stromal cells.
