Researchers has found that Wnt3, Wnt5b, Wnt6, Wnt10a, Wnt14, and Wnt16, as well as the Wnt receptor Fzd3, are highly expressed in CLL, compared with normal B cells, which suggests that the Wnt signaling pathway is active in CLL49 and contributes to the survival of CLL cells50. Here, WNT9A is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
