SNHG6 (snoRNA host gene 6), a house keeping gene of the 5′ terminal oligopyrimidine family, is identified as a novel oncogene in diverse human cancers, including colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, ovarian clear cell carcinoma, human osteosarcoma and hepatocellular carcinoma [12–18]. The gene discussed is SNHG6; the disease is cancer.
