CEACAM5 and neoplasm: The multivariate analysis identified that age older than 65 years, unmarried status, black race, primary site on the right colon or other sites, higher tumour grade, elevated CEA level, lower T stage, higher N stage, the presence of bone, brain, liver and lung metastasis, no surgery for the primary site and no/unknown performance of chemotherapy were independent prognostic factors for worse survival.
