Rapp et al. studied the impact of surgical resection, RT and concomitant TMZ in glioblastoma patients with methylated and non-methylated MGMT. They did not use TP53 expression as a factor in the prognosis [12]; however, they concluded that tumor progression-free survival and overall survival rates are strongly determined by MGMT status. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is neoplasm.
