MAP2K7 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: Supporting a suppressive role in leukemia, KLF4 inhibits T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and KLF4 expression is silenced in pediatric T-ALL by CpG promoter methylation, which was associated with aberrant expression of MAP2K7, a kinase pathway that accelerates disease progression [18, 19].
