JAK1 and Alzheimer disease: The focus of our study was ruxolitinib cream, a potent, selective JAK1/2 inhibitor that demonstrated significant clinical benefit in a phase 2b trial in adults with AD (NCT03011892) (28, 29) and is currently being evaluated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate AD (NCT03745638, NCT03920852 and NCT03745651).
