Interestingly, it has been shown that supplementation with vitamin D in various dosages (1000 IU/day [38, 39] to 20,000 [40] or 50,000 IU/week [41]) was associated with increased levels of IL-10 [38, 41] and TGF-β [38–40] and on the other hand, reduced concentration of IL-2 [38], IL-17A and IL-6 [41] in MS subjects. Here, IL17A is linked to myeloid sarcoma.
