The in vitro assessments revealed that the curcumin-loaded alginate-coated niosomes could succeed in notable apoptosis of the tested breast cancer cells; which can be correlated to the issue of up/downregulation of the expression of different genes (i.e., Bcl-2, cyclin D, cyclin E, Bax, P53, caspase-3, and caspase-9). Here, BCL2 is linked to breast cancer.
