As a first step in this direction, we utilized public in vitro viability panels with 90 experimental or approved therapeutic compounds and 84 breast cancer cell lines representing 35 luminal, 27 basal, 10 claudin-low, 9 normal and 3 of unknown subtypes, with 27 of them ERBB2 amplified [7]. The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
