Patients with breast cancer with a BRCA1 variant had a mean (SD) age of 38.7 [8.5] years, compared with 43.5 [] years for BRAC2 and 49.9 [5.8] years for PALB2. Within the study, the mean BMI (28.2) was not different between variant carriers and noncarriers. This evidence concerns the gene PALB2 and breast carcinoma.
