AKR1B10 and colon adenocarcinoma: Data in microarray datasets (GSE39582) showed that AKR1B10 expression decreased in colon adenocarcinomas at all stages (Supplementary Figure 1A), and low expression of AKR1B10 was associated with reduced survival rate, being a potential prognostic marker in colorectal cancer (Taskoparan et al., 2017).
