Consistent with our findings, Cai et al. reported that miR-128-3p was among the most upregulated miRNAs in chemoresistant, metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer cells, and that the effect of miR-128-3p is associated with Wnt/β-catenin and TGF-β activation (Cai et al., 2017). Here, TGFB1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
