Further, we measured the expression of electron transport chain proteins (mitochondrial succinate dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] iron-sulfur subunit [SDHB-complex II], mitochondrial cytochrome b-c1 complex subunit Rieske (UQCRFS1-complex III), mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit 5A [Cox5a-complex IV], mitochondrial ATP synthase subunit d [ATP5H-complex V]), and the ATP level in 3xTg-AD mice to evaluate the beneficial effects of DAU on mitochondria.
