Moreover, we have for the first time clarified the relationship between TRIM6 and renal fibrosis in different models: The Ang II-induced formation of ROS favored the nuclear translocation of NF-κB p50 and p65 to activate the transcription of TRIM6, which further activated the mTORC1 signaling by promoting the ubiquitination of two TSC proteins (Figure 8). This evidence concerns the gene AGT and renal fibrosis.
