The overall survival and disease-specific survival of the gastric cancer patients with FGFR2IIIb and/or FGFR2IIIc expression (n = 28) was significantly poorer than that of the patients with FGFR2-negative expression (n = 534) (p = 0.008 and 0.002, respectively) (Fig. 3A,B). Here, FGFR2 is linked to gastric cancer.
