The Kaplan-Meier curves for overall survival of all EC patients showed that neither parameter was significantly associated with survival (ENO1 IRS and plasma concentration: p=0.7258 and p=0.8501, respectively), even when EC cases were subdivided by histological type (ESCC ENO1 IRS and plasma concentration: p=0.1125 and p=0.5835, respectively; EAC ENO1 IRS and plasma concentration: p=0.3739 and p=0.5328, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene IARS1 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
