Integrins are involved in the attachment of cells to their matrix and our previous work detected a decrease in the recycling of the alpha5/beta1 integrin to the cell surface in A431 cells that had lost RCP20.These data could therefore suggest that loss of RCP or p53 in mutant p53 cells impairs anchoring and settling of the xenografted tumour cells. This evidence concerns the gene RAB11FIP1 and neoplasm.
