A total of 15 FMGs were defined in American CRC patients from the TCGA cohort, including APC (79%), TP53 (61%), TTN (48%), KRAS (42%), SYNE1 (28%), MUC16 (25%), PIK3CA (25%), FAT4 (22%), RYR2 (19%), OBSCN (18%), ZFHX4 (18%), FBXW7 (17%), LRP1B (17%), DNAH5 (17%) and DNAH11 (17%; Figure 1A). The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
