YTHDF1 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Treatment of HCC cells with actinomycin D (an inhibitor of transcription) revealed that knockout or overexpression of YTHDF1 did not affect the stability of ATG2A and ATG14 mRNA in both hypoxic SMMC7721 and Hep3B cells, as reflected in the comparable half-lives (t1/2) of ATG2A and ATG14 mRNA following YTHDF1 knockout or overexpression (Supplementary Fig. S10a–d).
