ADAMTS13 and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura: Abdelkader et al33 found a schistocyte cut‐off of ≥0.95% had an 88% sensitivity and 85.3% specificity for prediction of TTP in a population of pregnant women presenting with features of severe preeclampsia and the hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, low platelet count syndrome, although TTP in this study was determined by clinical criteria not ADAMTS‐13 testing specifically.
