The 749 patients with gliomas included in the study were divided into two groups: “group H” and “group L,” based on the median expression level of HOXD11. As shown in Fig. 3A, the Overall Survival (OS) was significantly lower in patients with gliomas having high expression levels of HOXD11 (group H) compared to those with low levels (group L; p < 0.001) in CGGA-sequence, which indicated poor prognosis. The gene discussed is HOXD11; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
