In this line, several investigations have identified TP53 mutations, either present at diagnosis or acquired at disease progression, as a predictive as well as prognostic biomarker in ALK-positive NSCLC.28,29 To our knowledge, our study is the first report transferring the validity of these results also on a treatment with lorlatinib, indicating that TP53 mutations confer a negative impact on PFS and OS irrespective of the TKI. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
