Although LCN2 injection aggravated the psoriasis-like inflammation induced by IMQ, it did not induce a psoriasis-like phenotype by itself, indicating that LCN2 may need to cooperate with certain stimuli, such as co-enhancing psoriasis with Th17 cytokines inflammatory response (Hau et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene LCN2 and psoriasis.
