CRYAB and hepatocellular carcinoma: A total of 6000 patients from China,[6,7,9–11,13,16,17,19,21] Korea,[12,14,20] Canada,[15] Sweden,[5] Taiwan,[18] and USA[22] were diagnosed with distinct cancers, including breast cancer (BC),[9,12,15,20,22] gastric cancer,[6] ovarian cancer (OC),[7] non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC),[10,17] laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma,[11,19] colorectal cancer,[13,16] renal cell carcinoma (RCC),[14,18] oral or oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma,[5] and hepatocellular carcinoma.[21] The sample sizes ranged from 50 to 3987, and CRYAB expression was evaluated by immunohistochemistry in all studies.
