Interestingly, recent human genetic studies, including genome‐wide association studies, have identified links between GRAMD1b and neurodevelopmental disorders such as intellectual disability and schizophrenia (Schizophrenia Working Group of the Psychiatric Genomics C, 2014; Reuter et al, 2017; Santos‐Cortez et al, 2018; Thyme et al, 2019). This evidence concerns the gene GRAMD1B and schizophrenia.
