Programmed cell death 1 (PD-1, also known as CD279), programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as CD274), and CTIL-4, are common immune checkpoints (Sun et al., 2018; Dermani et al., 2019; Qin et al., 2019), have been described in bladder cancer (Bellmunt et al., 2017; Le Goux et al., 2017; Rouanne et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1 and urinary bladder cancer.
