The patient had many risk factors that could leed to CRS and/or NT, including high disease burden, severe thrombocytopenia, hyperpyrexia (38.5–41.0°C), blood platelet levels less than 60, and IL-6 higher than 16 pg/mLin the first 36 h after the CD19 CAR T-cell infusion (11). The gene discussed is CD19; the disease is congenital rubella syndrome.
