To further assess the chemosensitizing effect previously observed in H460 (p53 and KRas wild-type) (Fig. 3), other human lung cancer cells including H292 (p53 wild-type), H23 (p53 and KRas mutant) and A549 (KRas mutant) were either pretreated with 5 μg/mL of 0.4 M NaCl peptide for 24 h or left untreated before further incubation with non-toxic concentration of cisplatin at 5 μM for 24 h. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and lung cancer.
