In the univariate analysis, the presence of a palpable mass, MMG findings (≥ category 4), mass formations on US or dynamic MRI, tumor size on MRI (> 20 mm), preoperative pathological findings (hormone receptor-negative, HER2 [3 +], DCIS grade [intermediate or high grade], nuclear grade [2 or 3], and the presence of comedo necrosis) were associated with the presence of IDC in patients who were preoperatively diagnosed with DCIS.
