As shown in Figure 1, CISD2 was significantly upregulated in most tumors compared with respectively normal tissues, except for acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), and rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), which indicates that CISD2 might play a critical role in the process of tumorigenesis in various types of cancer. This evidence concerns the gene CISD2 and rectum adenocarcinoma.
